Our Prices and Funeral Options
We realise that every family we are privileged to look after are different, so therefore, their funeral service must reflect the life that they lived. We will work with you during the arrangement to tailor your loved ones Funeral Service to any specific requirement, no matter how simple or elaborate your request's may be, we can help to make the final goodbye, a special one.
Our funeral costings are made up of two elements, our funeral director charges and the third party fee's known as the disbursements, such as Crematoria / Burial fees, doctor's fee, officiant fee, flowers, newspaper notices and order of service cards. After our initial meeting, we will put together a letter of confirmation and an itemised funeral estimate giving a breakdown of cost's. Once the funeral has taken place you will receive a final account 7-10 day's after the service.
We can also arrange Funeral Services anywhere in the Country, just speak with Barry or Claire who will be able to assist with these requests and will liaise with the appropriate people and authorities on your behalf.

Loosing a loved one, whether it's an expected death or sudden, can be a very upsetting time for a family and the steps involved in making funeral arrangements can be a very daunting experience for those involved in making the arrangements.
When a death occurs, you can simply call one of our offices on, Chard 01460 66100 or Ilminster 01460 929100 24 Hours a day and we will advise you on the initial steps and then make an appointment to discuss the funeral arrangements at a time and location convenient to you.
We have private arranging rooms at both our Funeral Homes, but we are equally happy to come to your home if that suits you better. It may take several meetings to finalise all of the details, so, therefore you don’t need to feel pressured into making all the decisions at the first meeting.
We want you to be comfortable with every aspect of the arrangements. If you need time to think about questions we ask you or you wish to discuss matters with other family members or friends, that’s fine too.
One of the first things to consider before you arrange the funeral service, is whether the funeral is going to be a Cremation or Burial. Whether you choose burial or cremation is completely your own choice. There are many factors, including family tradition, religious beliefs or just simply wishes of the person who has died. We will advise you on Cremation and Burial Options during our arrangement meeting.
