The Direct Cremation
(Inclusive Cost of our Services and Disbursements £1,550.00)
Our Direct Cremation Service is an option we offer to our families, who do not wish to have a Traditional Funeral Service, or perhaps it was the wish of their loved to have a 'no fuss' funeral. The Direct Cremation is a non-attended Cremation which allows for a dignified send off without the added stress of arranging a Traditional Funeral and to allow for a Celebration of their loved ones life at a later date.
We personally, look after all the arrangements of the Direct Cremation and will arrange for the Cremation to take place at a Local Crematorium.
Your loved ones favorite song or piece of music that is significant to them or the family can be played as we enter the Crematorium Chapel, please inform your Funeral Director of the chosen piece of music.
Please Note: As Funeral Directors, we are unable to register the death of a loved one, however, we will guide you every step of way, to ensure this procedure is taken care of as smoothly as possible for you.
Our Direct Cremation Service includes the following:-

The Cremation will take place on a day and time arranged by us, however, we will ensure you are told of this time, to allow you to have a moment of quiet to reflect on the person you have lost.
- Conveyance of your loved one from place of death to our Chapel of Rest, within 30 miles,
- Care of the Deceased up to and including the day of the Cremation.
- Our Professional Services and assistance with completing the necessary paperwork at one of our offices during normal office hours.
- A simple Coffin suitable for Cremation.
- Provision of a suitable vehicle and necessary staff to convey your loved one from our Chapel of Rest direct to the Crematorium.
- Option to view your loved one in our Chapel of Rest within offices hours by an agreed appointment. An additional fee will be charged for this service.
- Doctors Fee - For completion of cremation paperwork.
- Crematorium Fee - The Cremation will be held at a Crematorium of our choosing. If an alternative Crematorium is requested,
- Collection and Care of Cremated Remains at one of our Funeral Homes
