We have Private Chapel of Rest facilities at both our Ilminster and Chard Funeral Homes.
We appreciate that visiting a loved one at our Chapel of Rest can be a daunting experience, some families gain comfort from paying their respects, but others prefer not to; there is no right or wrong. There’s no pressure, it’s simply a matter of choice.
Our Private Chapels of Rest are open during our Office Opening Hours Monday – Friday: 9.00am – 4.30pm, however, we can facitiliate Chapel Visits outside of these times. You are most welcome to visit, whenever and as often as you wish to, although we do insist upon a telephoned appointment in advance of your visit.
