The Classic Funeral Service
​(Our Charges £2,100.00 plus Disbursements) 

Our Classic Funeral Service Option, provides families and their loved ones with an Attended Funeral Service. All arrangements can take place at either one of our Funeral Homes or in the comfort of your own, by an agreed appointment.
We personally, look after all the Funeral Arrangements, offering our Help and Guidance to you during your time of bereavement leading up to, including and after the funeral itself.

Please Note: As Funeral Directors, we are unable to register the death of a loved one, however, we will guide you every step of way, to ensure this procedure is taken care of as smoothly as possible for you.

Our Classic Funeral Service includes the following:-

• Conveyance of your loved one from place of death to our Chapel of Rest, within 30 miles.​

​

• Care of the Deceased up to and including the Funeral.

​​

• Our Professional Services,  meeting at one of our offices or in the comfort of your own home, offering our advice and guidance when making the funeral arrangements of your loved one and providing our care to you as a family leading up to, including and after the funeral service.

• A fully lined Oak Veneer Coffin complete with fittings suitable for Cremation.

         (Alternative Coffin options are available and can be discussed at the time of making the Funeral Arrangements)

• Use of our Chapel of Rest to spend time with your loved one, at any time by an agreed appointment.

 

• Provision of our black Norwood Hybrid Hearse and necessary staff  to convey your loved one from our Chapel of Rest to the Church or Crematorium ​via a private address or special route.

• Collection and Care of Cremated Remains at one of our Funeral Homes.

         (Cremated Remains will be returned to the Funeral Home that the arrangements were made)

• Provision of a Complimentary  Scatter Tube for ashes.

​​         ( if you wish to split your loved ones ashes, additional Scatter Tubes can be provided at an extra cost).

Third Party Fee's known as Disbursements: 

 As Funeral Directors we have no control over the third party costings, we will never add any further charges on to disbursements.

Officiant Fee - For an officiant to lead the service on the day of the Funeral, this may be a Vicar or Celebrant. ​	From £216.00
Doctor's Fee* - For completion of cremation paperwork ​*(In certain cases where the Coroner is involved there will be no charge for completion of Cremation Paperwork from the Doctor).	£82.00
Taunton Crematorium Fee (40 Minute Service)**	£946.00
Taunton Crematorium Extended Service Time (Additional 40 Minutes to an Existing Service)**	£223.00
Yeovil Crematorium (40 Minute Service)**	£893.00
East Devon Crematorium (45 Minute Service)**	£995.00

Each Crematoria will have different fee's and options available such as Webcast and Visual Tributes, these will be discussed during the arrangement meeting with the Funeral Director and a costing will be provided on your estimate.

​**The fee for the Service, includes the entrance and exiting of the congregation and ensuring  the Chapel is available for the following service.
